“The software we needed didn’t exist, so we built it”
Way back in 2001, what would become Projectworks began as in-house time tracking software coded by co-founder Doug Taylor to address a specific need within his professional service firm, Provoke.
Fast forward to 2011, Julian, a keen problem solver at Provoke, began to build upon Doug's humble time tracking software so it could support the rapid growth Provoke was encountering, and the first iteration of the Projectworks product was born.
Soon enough, as new staff joined Provoke, they consistently voiced how much they wished they had access to Projectworks in their previous workplaces.
This is where Matt, another long-standing Provoker, saw an opportunity to fill a much-needed gap in the market, and in 2016 Projectworks the product, became Projectworks the business.
